RCD 2: Driving Controls

Cruise through the city and enjoy the scenic bridge in style with these intuitive controls:

Movement:

  • Accelerate: [Up Arrow] or [w]
  • Brake: [Down Arrow] or [S]
  • Steer Left: [Left Arrow] or [A]
  • Steer Right: [Right Arrow] or [D]
  • Reverse: [Down Arrow] or [S]
  • Hand Brake: [Space Bar]

Closing the Game:

  • Standard Desktop PCs: Press Alt + F4 simultaneously on your keyboard.
  • Laptops: Since some laptops require an extra function key to use the F keys, press Fn + Alt + F4 together.

  • Additional Notes:

    • If the game is completely frozen and unresponsive, using Alt + F4 or Fn + Alt + F4 might not work. In that case, you can use the Task Manager to forcefully close the program (instructions below).

    Using Task Manager (if necessary):

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard to open the Task Manager.
    2. Under the "Processes" tab, locate "RCD 2.exe" or a similar entry.
    3. Right-click on the process and select "End task".

Note:

  • This game is intended for a relaxing driving experience. There are currently no features for using features like a  gear shifting, or nitro boost.

Installation:

  1. Download the Installer: Visit the RCD 2 download page on ITCH.io and download the installer file.
  2. Run the Installer: Double-click on the downloaded installer file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions: The installer will guide you through the installation process. You may be prompted to choose an installation location (we recommend leaving the default location).
  4. Complete Installation: Once the installation is complete, you will see a confirmation message. Click "Finish" to close the installer.

Launching the Game:

  1. Locate the shortcut: After installation, a shortcut for RCD 2 should be created on your desktop.
  2. Double-click the shortcut: This will launch the game.

  • If you encounter any issues during installation, refer to the RCD 2 FAQ or contact Fast Strip (OPC) Private Limited for support.
  • After launching the game for the first time, there might be a short initial setup process.
